The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee

Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee prepares girls for their future by educating them in the areas of civic engagement, STEAM and healthy living. Join us as we continue our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

Locally, the first troops were started in 1917, with the Nashville Girl Scout Council receiving its charter in 1926. Today, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee serves 39 counties that include more than 20,000 Girl Scouts and volunteers. Where else can you learn new dance moves, go camping, take care of the planet, develop your leadership skills, contribute to your community, learn business skills, experience art, stay healthy and active, become independent and work together as a team all in one place?

Elizabeth Bradley, a former Brownie, is honored to serve Williamson County as Regional Executive. Elizabeth is passionate about the mission of Girl Scouting and feels honored to play a small role in teaching girls how to make the world a better place. You can’t go wrong with a Samoa in her book, and she is known to enjoy the occasional Trefoil with a cup of coffee.
